We congratulate our doctoral student, Yara Hatoom, on receiving an Excellence Scholarship from the Ministry of Innovation, Science, and Technology.
This award honors her research titled “Goldman Brackets on the Modular Surface,” supervised by Dr. Tali Pinsky, which explores the structure of Lie algebras generated by Goldman brackets on various surfaces, focusing on the modular surface. Her work integrates aspects of topology and algebraic structures, providing valuable insights into these mathematical fields.
