Alon is an outstanding student and teaching assistant in the Interdisciplinary Program in Applied Mathematics under the supervision of Prof. Barak Fishbain from the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering.
His research focuses on mathematical models for environmental systems, particularly in estimating and monitoring air pollution using visual data. This involves integrating theory from computer vision, machine (deep) learning, and signal processing.
Alongside his long and meaningful service in the reserves, Alon continues to excel. We are confident that he will keep leading and achieving great success.
