We are happy to welcome Dr. Ofir Gorodetsky to our faculty

Dr. Gorodetsky has recently completed a postdoctoral appointment at the University of Oxford, where he was involved in Prof. James Maynard’s ‘PRIMES’ ERC grant.

His area of expertise lies in analytic number theory, an area that deals with the distribution of primes and other arithmetic sequences. His primary focus is on questions on the distribution of prime numbers and other arithmetic sequences. Recently, he worked on Chebyshev’s bias for sums of two squares and on problems in random multiplicative functions.
