The theory of linear bounded Fredholm operators from a Banach space to another Banach space is well-known and has very important applications in analysis, especially in integral equations and PDE's. In the talk the theory of Fredholm operators on scales of interpolation spaces will be discussed and recent results, obtained jointly with I. Asekritova and M. Mastylo, will be presented.
