Seminar: Nonlinear Analysis and Optimization Speaker:  Marian Fabian  (Institute of Mathematics of the Czech Academy of Sciences) Abstract: We show that every compact convex set of matrices can be understood as the Clarke Jacobian of a suitable Lipschitz mapping. This can be extended to compact connected sets and Bouligand Jacobians. We will use this for discussing the possibility of finding Lipschitz inverses of Lipschitz mappings. The talk follows a recent joint paper with D. Bartl and J. Kolar.   Please note the unusual time!
