Dr. Alan Lew is joining our faculty

We are honored to introduce Dr. Alan Lew, who will join our faculty after completing his postdoc at Carnegie Mellon University.
Alan’s research centers on combinatorics, focusing on problems related to geometry and topology. He studies the topology of simplicial complexes and its geometric applications. He also works on rigidity theory, an area that deals with the study of, “distance preserving motions” of graphs embedded in Euclidean space. In addition, He is interested in the study of Laplacian (and Laplacian-like) operators on graphs and simplicial complexes.

Alan, welcome, and good luck!
